Great Plains Study Club Final Dinner

June 1, 2018 –

We had a wonderful night welcoming guests to our Casbah. After enjoying passed hor d’oeuvres, Moroccan Mules and beautiful designs from henna tattoo artists and receiving insight from a palm reader, we gathered inside for a cozy meal. Inside, we sat with fellow members of the Great Plains Study Club and enjoyed a wonderful mosaic of tajine and tastes of Marrakesh, full of exotic scents and spices. The real “spice” of the night came when the music started and tales of the Sahara unwinded through the universal language of dance. The belly dancer brought the Arabic culture to life as she shimmied and swayed from room to room. Everyone left with lifelong memories and feeling excited to begin the 2018-2019 Great Plains Study Club year.
