Let’s Grow Together

Our Great Plains Study Club may be a little different this year, but we are still growing together through the hard times of 2020. This Great Plains Study Club 2020-2021 year is all about planting new seeds and watching them grow even stronger!

To start off the 2020-2021 year we thought it would be absolutely perfect to host our Kick Off Dinner in the Rosehill Gardens of Martin City. The pretty fall colors and the fresh fall air made this event such a dream!

We talked, listened to music, and even planted beautiful fall flowers. Each of our members planted their own flower pots to take home to their families at the end of the night! This was a great way for everyone to remember the kick off dinner and the meaning behind our theme.

With the help of the KC Fizzolino beverage truck, we raised our glasses to the new adventures, new goals, and friendships!

But seriously, how cute is this mini truck?! It fit perfectly into the venue and theme for the night.

The kick off dinner was a night to remember. 2020 gave us many battles to overcome and we are so excited to grow into a new chapter with our members! Did you know….Fire removes low-growing underbrush, cleans the forest floor of debris, opens it up to sunlight, and nourishes the soil.  Maybe, in the end, we will all be more nourished and grow a little stronger and taller because of 2020.
