COVID-19 Update: April 27th, 2020

April 27th, 2020

Oakley Oral Surgery takes the health and safety of our patients and our staff seriously. It is our goal to make sure we keep those around us safe and well. During this time of uncertainty, we will not abandon our passion which is taking the best care of our patients safely.

COVID 19 pandemic is unprecedented. New developments and instructions on care are being updated and shared by the CDC, Local Hospitals, Federal and State agencies daily. Effective immediately Oakley Oral Surgery has decided to put the following into place:

Effective immediately:

  • We will delay scheduling elective surgery until at least May 11th, 2020. This date may change depending on future developments.
  • Concentrating on emergency dental care will allow us to alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place on you, referring doctors, and the local hospital emergency departments. Our office will be open with limited hours, Monday – Friday 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for true emergencies only. We will be available to answer the phone and to see patients that require true emergency treatment. Please note these hours may change!
  • We will offer TRIAGE consultation appointments for patients.
  • We continue to strongly recommend that anyone over the age of 65 years old should reschedule any doctor visits, unless there is a clinical reason why they should be seen at this time.

As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery office we understand and embrace our responsibility to the public and dental community. Our aim is as always to be here for our patients. Please call the office if you have any questions or concerns.
